ST. ANTHONY, Aug. 27 – Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cardon of St. Anthony Wednesday announced the marriage of their daughter, Joan, to George Ioset, son of Dr. R. G. Ioset, 262 Third avenue west, and Mrs. Fern Ioset, 205 Ninth Avenue north, Twin Falls.
The marriage was performed at the home of the bride’s parents on Sunday, with Bishop T. M. Bassett officiating the double wedding ring ceremony. Miss Jean Kooch was the bridesmaid and Richard Ioset, brother of the groom, was best man. Mrs. T. M. Bassett played the wedding march and other music during the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of the St. Anthony high school class of 1944, attended Idaho State college and the Utah Agricultural college at Logan. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega soroity.
The grood attended the University of Idaho at Mosco for one and one half years where he was affiliated with Beta Theta Pi fraternity. During the past year he was a student at Idaho State college. He served in the army for three years, spending one year in the European theatre.
They expect to continue their education at the University of Minnesota.
The couple is honeymooning at points in Utah.
