LOGAN, Utah-Blanche Irene Alsop Cardon, 87, of Logan died Friday, August 14, 1987, at her home.
She was born March 22, 1900, in Marion Iowa a daughter of George Willard and Harriet Lurana Good Alsop. She married Bartell Cardon July 11, 1931, in Denver, Colorado. They were later divorced.
Survivors include: two sons, Dr. Bartell W. Cardon, Logan; Ronald A. Cardon, LA Mirada, Calif.; one brother and one sister, Stanley G. Alsop, San Francisco, Calif.; Bernice A. Ellers, Pasadena, Calif. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 12 Noon, in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel. Friends may call Monday evening, 7-9 PM and one hour prior to services. Interment, Logan City Cemetery.

Blanche Irene Alsop Cardon, 87, Logan, died Friday, Aug 14, 1987, at her home.
She was born March 22, 1900, in Marion, Iowa, a daughter of George Willard and Harriet Lurana Good Alsop. She married Bartell Cardon on July 11, 1931, in Denver, Colo. They were later divorced.
She was raised in Marion on an 80-acre farm with her parents and family. She lived in St. Louis and Denver before moving to Oakland, Calif., where she raised her family. After her retirement in 1965, she moved to Salt Lake City and in 1979 moved to Logan.
She was a convert to the LDS Church and had been a stake missionary in Oakland. She had been a teacher in many auxiliaries. She was a genealogist for 50 years and worked for the Genealogical Society of California and Utah.
Survivors include: two sons, Dr. Bartell W. Cardon, Logan; Ronald A. Cardon, LA Mirada, Calif.; one brother and one sister, Stanley G. Alsop, San Francisco, Calif.; Bernice A. Ellers, Pasadena, Calif. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at Noon, in the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel where friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
