SPOKANE Leith C. Marshall, 75, a Clarkston homemaker, died of complications following surgery Friday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

She and her husband, William H. Marshall, moved to Clarkston last year to live near their son, Alan G. Marshall of Lewiston.

They had lived for 12 years in Santa Rosa, Calif., and for many years before that in St. Paul, Minn., where he was a professor at the University of Minnesota.

She was born Sept. 3, 1915, at Logan, Utah, to O. Guy and Ruby Nebeker Cardon. She graduated from Utah State Agricultural College in 1935. She and her husband were married April 17, 1936.

The Marshalls moved to Boise in 1938, and then to St. Paul, Minn., in 1945.

Survivors in addition to her husband at Clarkston and her son at Lewiston are three sisters, Alice C. Belliston of Arlington, Va., Pauline Whitehead of Logan, Utah, and Carolyn C. Packard of San Francisco, Calif.; and two brothers, Guy and Sidney Carson, both of Logan, Utah.

A son, Guy H. Marshall, died in 1961.

Graveside services will be conducted in Logan, Utah, at a later date. Allen-Hall Funeral Home of Logan, is in charge of arrangements.
