Our 2023 Cardon Family Reunion is around the corner!
When – Saturday, August 26, 2023
Where – NE chapel located on 800 South 800 East (across the street from Costco) Orem, UT
9 am – 9:45 am: Registration. Enjoy display of Cardon family memorabilia and familyhistory publications (for purchase).
10 am – 11 am: Opening session. Our keynote speaker is Bret Woods, Director ofInternational Temple Development for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints,former superintendent of construction for the Rome Temple.
11:10 am – 11:50 am; noon – 12:40 pm. Breakout sessions. Options include avirtual tour of our ancestral Italian homeland and learning more about sisters Catherineand Marie Madeline Cardon from two of their descendants.
Children’s activities – During the two breakout sessions there will be a nursery for theyounger children and a magic show performed by a talented children’s magician.
12:40 – Lunch; you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch or purchase items froma variety of food trucks, including Chick-fil-A. We will be eating under the two coveredpavilions.
After lunch – Enjoy provided treats, outdoor games for all ages, and lots of visitingwith our extended family!
REUNION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you are willing and able, we need help at the 2023 Cardon Family Reunion in the following areas: Someone to oversee/supervise setup of the Cardon memorabilia that is brought for display. Someone to volunteer to lead the opening/closing song in our group meeting.Several volunteers to be with children and supervise during the children’s magic show.Several to help with the group/children’s games going on after lunch.Anyone willing to volunteer for misc. needs.Email us at cardonfamilies@gmail.com to volunteer!
